If you ever traveled by airplane and looked down at the fields in a sunny day, this is probably what you saw. Colorful geometrical shapes that seem to line up in place like Tetris shapes. “Inspired by the Scottish countryside”, Liz Eeuwes came up with these fantastic rug designs that are not only beautiful and inviting, but also particularly precious because they are handmade. Colorful and vivid, they really live up any room and they fit well in modern interiors. Made intirely out of New Zeeland wool, the three models of rugs are available in a variety of sizes. {via}

Sleep on Money Folded Banknote-Shape Pillow
I know fore sure that everybody loves money, and this folded banknote-shape pillow is an amazing idea. To be honest I would love to sleep on a pillow like this …but a 500 euro or 100$ version. The graphics on this pillow is knitted, instead of printed, in five different colors. The pillow cover is custom made using a specialized knit machine. The pillow cover can be easily taken off for washing. {via}

World’s Largest Tree House
Measuring over 100 feet, this colossal tree house beats record after record. The general idea of a small place up in the tree is completely shattered when looking at these pictures. This house has ten stories and it took no less than 15 years to build. Its proud owner-Horace Burgess- says that a divine influence was at the bottom of this, as he is planning to create something that would “never run out of materials”. The place looks rustic and a bit weird, however it is an amazing structure that astonishes the beholder and makes one think nothing is impossible. {via}

Abstract Tiles from Fogazza- Color and Fun
With these new tile patterns from Fogazza you can really turn a regular walk to the kitchen into a fun experience. Various, fresh and exciting, these modern tiles spice up any dull room and turn in to a cheerful interior. Pavimenti Fogazza is an Italian company, founded in 1905. With more than a hounded years of experience, it almost seems today that every new collection that Fogazza launches is more glamorous and more creative than the one before. We took a liking to their site and as we browsing through it, we found out that the company is “dedicated in researching aesthetically refined and technologically advanced solutions” and that they are “constantly looking for new solutions for designs and chromatic effects”. Perhaps it was this constant search for chromatic effects that lead to such great patterns or maybe experience had a lot to do with it, either way these tiles are good practical example for improving any home. {via}
